Meet Trooper!

Trooper is a sweet 2-year-old, 60-pound boy who would love nothing more than to be your shadow. He's a quiet companion who thrives on being near his person, whether it's for a cozy nap or just to keep you company while you go about your day. Trooper is incredibly smart, house-trained, and crate-trained. He doesn't shed and already knows basic commands like "stay," "come," "lay down," and "quiet." He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is happiest when he's with his favorite human. Trooper has a gentle and tender heart, responding wonderfully to kindness, encouragement, and consistency. He's not a demanding dog; he simply wants to feel safe and loved.

Ideal Home

Trooper will thrive in a home where he can be a true companion. He experiences some separation anxiety and will do best with someone who is home more often than not, rather than being left alone for extended periods. He has done well with other dogs, ignores barking dogs on walks, and his protective instincts are easily managed due to his excellent listening skills.

Ongoing Health

Trooper is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go to his forever home.

Training & Support

Trooper is already house-trained and crate-trained and knows several commands. He walks well on a leash and rides calmly in the car. His separation anxiety is something to be aware of, and he will benefit from a consistent and loving environment.
