Alabama - Crate/Leash/House Trained. Good w dogs & cats

Meet Alabama, a 6-year-old Heeler Mix with a heart full of potential! Alabama was rescued from euthanasia along with his littermates and has since blossomed, learning to trust and engage with the world around him. He's a smart boy who has graduated from training and is now proficient in leash manners, crate use, and housebreaking, and he knows his basic commands. Alabama gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has also been introduced to cats and house pigs without any issues. He's still a work in progress, so we recommend a home with teens and up. A fenced yard is highly recommended to help him continue to build confidence. While Alabama may not be ready for couch cuddles just yet, the journey of earning his trust will be incredibly rewarding. He's searching for a patient and loving hero to show him the joy of a forever home.

Ideal Home

Ongoing Health

Alabama has been fully vetted, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. He is up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Alabama is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained. He knows basic commands. While he's made great progress, he is still a work in progress and will benefit from continued patience and positive reinforcement.
