Boss Hog aka Blackie

Boss Hog, also known as Blackie, is a handsome 5-1/2-year-old fellow weighing in at about 91 lbs. He arrived at the shelter as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but we're learning more about him every day. Sadly, his previous owner passed away, leaving him without a home. He's a gentle giant who is ready for his second chance at a happy life.

Ideal Home

Boss Hog would love a home where he can be a cherished member of the family. He'll need a family that can provide him with love, attention, and plenty of space to stretch out.

Ongoing Health

Boss Hog is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He has also been dewormed and comes with a Healthy Start Certificate from VCA Hospitals, which includes a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).

Training & Support

As we are still getting to know Boss Hog, we'll share any specific training needs or guidance as they arise. He's eager to please and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement.

Transportation

Boss Hog is currently located at our Adoption Center, 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170, next to CAL Ranch. Transport may be available.
