Boris English BULL DOG

Boris is a handsome 4-year-old mixed breed, weighing in at approximately 38 pounds. He's a charming fellow with a lot of love to give, and he's looking for a home where he can truly shine. Boris was rescued by his current owner from a difficult past and has been with them since he was a puppy. Sadly, his owner is currently hospitalized, and their partner, while doing their best, can't provide Boris with the consistent attention he deserves due to work and family responsibilities. Boris has a slight case of separation anxiety, so he's not accustomed to being left alone for long periods. He doesn't bite people, and he is house-trained.

Ideal Home

Boris would do best in a home that can provide him with a consistent routine and plenty of companionship. He is not friendly with other male dogs, so a home without them would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Boris is not neutered and his vaccines are not up to date, but his current family is working on getting them updated. Any potential adopter must be willing to commute to Long Beach for his neutering procedure.

Training & Support

Boris is not crate trained, but he is house-trained. Given his slight separation anxiety, he would benefit from a patient adopter who can help him feel secure when left alone.
