Denali

Hi there! My name is Denali, and I'm a charming Terrier mix who's a little unsure about this big world. I'm still learning to build my confidence, and I do best when things move slowly and gently. I'm a super curious guy and love to explore and sniff everything, but I do spook easily and prefer to approach new people and situations on my own terms. If you give me plenty of space and patience, I promise my sweet side will start to shine! I already know my name and will perk up when you call me.

Ideal Home

A calm home environment is what I need to truly thrive. Because I'm still nervous around people, I'd do best in a home without small children. I need adopters who understand that building confidence takes time and are prepared to give me all the patience and encouragement I need.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy boy, and my adoption fee includes all my necessary vaccinations, spay, and microchip.

Training & Support

I'm working on my confidence and need lots of positive socialization. It's important to let me approach you first and give me plenty of space to feel safe. Gentle exploration time outdoors is my favorite way to connect, and with time, I might even enjoy going on walks with my new family!

• My adoption fee is $300+tax, which covers the cost of my care.
• Pennington County residents will also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at the time of adoption.

I'm currently located at the humane society in Pennington County. We can discuss transport options once your application has been approved.
