She was scared and in pain, understandable reasons to be wary of the world. But this little fighter never gave up! Over the past month, she's healed beautifully with love, medical care, and patience. Her soft fur is slowly returning, and her heart is opening wider each day. She's learning that not all hands bring pain; some bring warmth, safety, and gentle pets. Now fully vetted and medically cleared, Bijou is ready for her forever home. She's quiet, observant, and deeply affectionate in her own shy way. She might be cautious at first, but with a calm voice and a little time, she'll curl up beside you, showing her trust. Bijou is more than a survivor; she's a teacher, demonstrating the power of healing and resilience. She's looking for someone who sees her strength, honors her past, and celebrates her soft, fuzzy future. Bijou will do well in a home with another dog.
