Jade

Jade is a sweet Rottweiler mix who came to us from a shelter as a neglect case. She was severely underweight and had to endure freezing temperatures without any shelter. Thankfully, Jade has made a full recovery and is now a healthy, happy girl who has learned to trust people again thanks to her wonderful foster family!

Jade is a bit shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she realizes you're a friend. She does best with women but has learned that men can be pretty great too! She loves to be petted, but please avoid reaching over her head, as she may still cower a bit when that happens. Jade gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play fetch, especially with a tennis ball. She's not at all aggressive, even if another dog snatches her ball – she'll just happily come back for another throw! Jade will make a very lucky family a fantastic companion.

Ideal Home

Jade is looking for a family that will be patient and understanding as she continues to build her confidence. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well in a home with a canine friend.

Ongoing Health

Jade is now healthy and spayed, and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jade is house-trained and enjoys playing fetch. Gentle introductions to new people will help her continue to feel secure.
