Gina

Meet Gina! This sweet girl had a rough start to life, abandoned near a dump in Punta Mita with another dog. Thankfully, a kind person intervened, and we were able to bring them into our care. Gina arrived with some health challenges, including malnutrition, anemia, and ehrlichia, but she's overcome all of that and is now a healthy, steady, and incredibly gentle soul. She's calm, sweet, wonderful with people, and gets along great with other dogs. Gina has medium energy and is easy to live with, happy to have a canine companion or to be the sole furry friend in your home. She's dreaming of a soft place to land and a family to shower with love.

Gina would thrive in a home that can provide her with the love and stability she deserves. She's happy with or without another dog.

Ongoing Health

Gina has fully recovered from her previous health issues, including ehrlichia, and is now in excellent health.

Training & Support

Gina is described as easy to live with and is wonderful with people and other dogs.

• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

Transportation

Gina is currently located in Puerto Vallarta. Transportation to adopters can be arranged via flight companions. If a Canadian flight companion is unavailable during summer months, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. Volunteers have successfully assisted with border pickups, making this a viable option for adoptions.
