Momma Callie

Momma Callie is a gentle soul, about 2 years old and weighing 65-75 pounds. She's a bit shy when meeting new people and needs time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she's all in. Callie was rescued as a stray struggling to care for her litter, and her world has changed for the better since being saved. She now enjoys being inside a home, doesn't mind being kenneled as a safe space, and eats her meals calmly. She gets along well with other dogs and would likely do best in a home with a canine companion.

Ideal Home

Callie needs a patient home that can help her gain confidence and bond with her caretaker. She requires a safe and secure fenced-in yard and cannot live in an apartment.

Ongoing Health

Callie is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She has been wormed for all parasites.

Training & Support

Callie is still working on gaining confidence and is currently learning to take treats from strangers. She does well around other dogs and would benefit from a home with a canine friend.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Reference checks, including veterinary references, will be conducted.
• Adoption fee is $150, which includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming, and heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
• Fence verification will be conducted for dog adoptions.
• An Adoption Contract will be completed upon adoption.
