About Evie

Evie came to us after living on the street with her 4 puppies. It is unclear whether she ever had a home or family prior to her foster family. Evie is a gentle, timid girl who hasn't learned to trust people, but shows she is smart and has potential to learn. She is very well-behaved and quiet in the house and enjoys having a safe spot to call her own. Evie will be most successful in a home with other dog friends, as she gains confidence and trust from her 3 foster siblings and is happiest when she's outside playing with them! She lives with a variety of farm animals now and has shown no interest or aggression toward any of them. Evie is a very athletic girl and can clear fences with ease. She has been getting braver in her foster home and is starting to like neck scratches and has even given a few little kisses! With some time, encouragement, and confidence-building, Evie has the potential to be a loyal friend.

Ideal Home

Evie will be most successful in a home with other dog friends. Her perfect home will have a tall fence, a lot of property, or the ability to train her with a halo collar, as she is an athletic girl who can clear fences with ease. She needs someone who can be patient with her while she learns that her people love her.

Ongoing Health

All adoptions include spay or neuter, current vaccinations, and heartworm testing.
