Ruby is a 3-year-old, 45 lb sweetheart with a loving spirit. She adores romping outside with other dogs, playing with squeaky toys, learning new things, and curling up for cuddles. Ruby truly lights up when she sees familiar people, her tail wagging endlessly as she happily soaks up belly rubs and affection. She is housebroken and crate trained, and currently lives harmoniously with dogs and cats. While she benefits from slow introductions to new dogs, once she realizes they are friendly, she becomes very sweet, playful, and submissive. Ruby is also a wonderful cat companion and completely ignores them, including the litter box! She recently completed a 3-week board and train program where she excelled, impressing her trainer with her quick learning ability and eagerness to work. She mastered numerous obedience skills and manners. Ruby can be anxious when meeting new people outside her comfort zone, so a home without the expectation of frequent outings to busy places would be ideal for her. She is a simple girl who cherishes the familiarity and routine of home, and enjoys leisurely walks in nature. Ruby is quite agile and can jump low fences, so a high fence or supervision when she's outdoors is a must. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Ruby might just be your girl!
