Barkus Aurelius Roman, also known as Aurelio, is a charming 4-month-old Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix. This handsome boy, with his striking creamy tan coat and mesmerizing icy blue eyes, is more than just a pretty face; he's a goofy, affectionate puppy eager to find his forever home. As the only male in his litter, Aurelio is a true gentleman who thrives on companionship. He loves being involved in all activities, from playtime with his sisters to cuddling up for a good belly rub. He's a quick learner, especially when motivated by treats, and has already mastered commands like "lay," "stay," and "paw." Aurelio is making great progress with his crate and potty training, and is learning valuable lessons in patience and impulse control.
Ideal Home
Aurelio would do best in a home where he can be a central part of the family. While he's learning to respect the boundaries of an older resident dog, he hasn't met cats or young children yet, so slow and supervised introductions would be recommended. He is still working on not jumping when excited.
Ongoing Health
Aurelio is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Aurelio will continue to thrive with consistency, positive reinforcement, and plenty of love. He's food-motivated, which makes training enjoyable. He is learning to control his excitement and not jump.
