Meet Pretzel, a handsome 1-2 year old bully mix who weighs around 72 lbs! His most striking features are his independently operating ears, a brindle coat, and a head tilt that will steal your heart. Pretzel is a big boy with an even bigger heart, still very much a puppy at heart, eager to please and learn. He is incredibly people-oriented, adoring, and will often check in with his handler for guidance. Pretzel is a sweet soul who is not stubborn, but rather learning. With a treat in hand, he's a master of new skills in no time!
Ideal Home
Pretzel is a puppy in a big body and can occasionally jump up and get a bit mouthy when excited. He would thrive in a home that can provide structure, redirection, and consistency to help him learn manners. He would do best with a medium-energy dog who can tolerate his learning curve and help him learn appropriate play.
Ongoing Health
Pretzel comes fully vetted, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He will also receive a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, a heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Pretzel knows how to sit and is very food motivated, making training both effective and fun. He is strong and enthusiastic on leash, especially when meeting new dogs, and will need a confident handler to guide him. While he can be a bit pushy with other dogs, he understands clear corrections and guidance. He has also shown promising signs with cats, approaching with curiosity and disengaging.

Transporation
Pretzel is currently located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
