Elton John is a chunky, lovable puppy with a big personality. Approximately 4 months old and weighing about 18 pounds, he is believed to be a Black Mouth Cur and Pit Bull Terrier mix. Elton loves toys, treats, playtime, people, and cuddling after he has enjoyed some puppy fun. He is sweet, smart, playful, happy, and easygoing.

Elton would thrive with a family ready to guide him through puppyhood and help him grow into a wonderful adult companion. He enjoys interacting with people, carrying toys, starting games, and learning through positive experiences.
Ongoing Health
His adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, spay/neuter, microchipping with free lifetime registration, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Elton is eager to please and highly motivated by treats. His family should continue working on potty training, crate training, leash walking, basic manners, and positive socialization with patience and consistency. The rescue provides behavioral information, individualized support, training resources, and adopter perks including training and pet-care discounts.

Nationwide USDA-certified transport is available with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, and IL, as well as Canada. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA; Buffalo, NY; or Brattleboro, VT. Transport includes 24/7 care, journey tracking, photo updates, and a health certificate for travel.
