Meet Meeka, a playful and affectionate 1.5-year-old Black Labrador Retriever mix. Found as a stray in Texas, she is ready for a loving forever home.
Meeka is high-energy and enjoys running, playing, squeaky toys, tennis balls, rope toys, yard games, and spending time with other dogs. She reads canine play cues well and is learning to be gentler with smaller dogs. She is affectionate, cuddly, loyal, and loves being close to her people.
Ideal Home
Meeka would thrive with an active family that can provide exercise, enrichment, playtime, and continued consistency. A large, securely fenced yard and a playful canine companion would be wonderful. She has done well around a 2-year-old child, but supervision around small children is recommended. Her history with cats is unknown. Because she prefers not to share food or toys, separate feeding and toy management are recommended in a multi-pet home.
