Raven is a beautiful, big, and solid girl with a striking black and brindly coat. She's a survivor, having been found on the streets by a kind trapper who actually intended to rescue puppies but ended up saving her too! Raven is loving, but in her own independent way. She's not a cuddly lap dog and prefers not to be a constant shadow, a trait likely stemming from her time living on her own. However, her eyes show a deep longing for a patient human who will love her for who she is and help her blossom into her full potential. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys exploring the world around her. Raven is good with other dogs and would likely do best in a home with a calm and confident canine companion. Be prepared for some shedding, as she sports a thick shepherd double coat – a great vacuum cleaner and a tolerance for a little fur are a must!

Raven would thrive with a patient adopter who understands her independent nature and can appreciate her quiet affection. A home with another calm and confident dog would be ideal for her. Adopters should also be prepared for shedding due to her double coat.
