Chance

Meet Chance, a handsome boy whose true personality shines through once you get to know him. We don't know his past, but his journey to us has made him a little cautious around new people. He can sometimes be worried when people approach his kennel, and may growl or ask for space as a way to communicate his discomfort. This is why his kennel has a "Bite Risk" sign – not because he's aggressive, but to ensure all interactions start safely and thoughtfully as he builds confidence.

However, Chance is a dog who truly blossoms when given a chance. Once the kennel door is open and he has a little time to adjust, his whole demeanor changes. The tension melts away, his tail starts wagging, and he leans in for affection, as if he's been waiting for someone to see past his initial shyness.

Chance also enjoys the company of other dogs and happily plays with his neighbors, finding comfort in canine companionship. This playful side is a wonderful contrast to his initial wariness, showing just how much he can relax and enjoy himself.

Chance is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give him the time and space to build trust. He'd thrive with someone who recognizes that trust is earned and is willing to put in the effort to get to know the wonderful dog he is.
