Mocha

Meet Mocha, a delightful 1-year-old Red Tri-colored Australian Shepherd with a heart of gold. She's a sweet girl who is looking for her forever home. Mocha can be a bit shy initially and prefers not to be approached by strangers right away. However, once she feels comfortable, she'll happily approach you for cuddles and affection. She's making great progress with her crate training and has shown she can stay in her crate for up to eight hours without any accidents. While she might whine a little when first settling in, she quickly calms down and does very well. Mocha loves to chew on bones and gets excited for her favorite treats. She's a gentle, affectionate companion who simply needs a little patience and understanding to build her confidence.

Ideal Home

Mocha would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely exercise and explore at her own pace, as she is not a fan of walking on a leash at this time. She would likely thrive as the only dog, receiving all the attention, but could also adapt well to a home with one other calm and compatible dog.

Ongoing Health

Mocha is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mocha is working on her crate training and doing wonderfully, with no accidents during extended periods in her crate. She may whine initially when settling into her crate but quickly relaxes. Patience and understanding will help Mocha build confidence.
