Lysander

Meet Lysander!

Lysander is a playful and curious 11-month-old Chihuahua mix little guy. He loves to be outside in the sunshine playing with other dogs. He's a delightful little soul who would make a great companion for anyone looking for a "little" road traveler. He loves to nest under the covers at night when sleeping with his favorite person, and most times, he’ll curl right up with you. Lysander is loving and likes touches and pets, but he still asserts his independence, occasionally, by selecting his own place on the couch.

Ideal Home

Lysander would do best in a home with older children. Dogs his own size or slightly bigger would be ideal so as to avoid injury, as he is quite small. He would also be fine as the only pup in the home or as an addition to a current pack. He also gets along with cats. A somewhat calm environment would be good, as loudness or quick movements can make him leery.

Ongoing Health

Lysander has been neutered and is current with all his vaccines.

Training & Support

Lysander is crate trained and is working on house training. He has learned to signal by whining to go outside. Overall, supervision is still needed.
