About Arthur
Arthur is a 5-year-old, 78-pound neutered Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is the perfect combination of playful adventure buddy and affectionate cuddle companion. He was found roaming a park and brought to the county shelter, but thankfully, a foster opened their home to him. Arthur loves life and approaches every day with enthusiasm. He's a moderate-energy dog who enjoys playtime, exploring, and spending time with his people. Arthur is outgoing, playful, curious, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. He enjoys toys, loves spending time with his people, and is always happy to soak up attention and affection. He thinks if he can fit, he can sit! Arthur rides beautifully in the car and absolutely LOVES car rides!
Ideal Home
Arthur's ideal home is one that can provide regular exercise, structure, and plenty of opportunities to be part of the family. He doesn't need another dog in the home to be happy, but he would thrive with people who enjoy including their dog in everyday adventures. While he has done well around a young child, due to his size and excitement, he could accidentally knock over a small child during play. He would do best with a family that understands his energetic nature and can provide appropriate outlets for his enthusiasm.

Training & Support
Arthur is fully house-trained and crate-trained. He settles nicely in his crate and has comfortably stayed crated for longer periods. Arthur may pull at first on walks but settles into the routine and does well.
