Meet Tito, a striking 2-year-old, 40-pound Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog mix with a beautiful black-and-white coat, speckled markings, alert ears, amber eyes, and uniquely marbled coloring in one eye. He is an intelligent, athletic, loyal dog who forms deep bonds with his people and thrives on companionship and inclusion.
Tito enjoys long walks, adventures, exploring new places, puzzle toys, stuffed Kongs, chew toys, and enrichment activities. He is treat-motivated, eager to learn, and loves having a job to do.
Ideal Home
Tito would do best with an experienced adopter familiar with intelligent working breeds and able to provide consistency, structure, clear boundaries, leadership, and mental stimulation. He can be cautious around strangers and may bark or growl when fearful or overwhelmed, so he needs slow introductions, patience, and someone willing to earn his trust.
Tito does not do well with dominant dogs, particularly male dogs that challenge him. He may do best as the only dog, with a female dog, or with an experienced adopter who understands dog behavior and management.
Training & Support
Tito is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks beautifully on leash. Continued obedience training, structure, and enrichment will help him thrive.
