David

David is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees Mix who weighs approximately 60 lbs. This sweet boy absolutely loves people, but he is very shy and still learning how to navigate the world. He hasn't been on a leash before, but he's incredibly smart and eager to connect with someone who understands that trust is built, not rushed. David is one of the last adult dogs remaining from a rescue of over 100 Great Pyrenees from a hoarding case. He is a testament to kindness, having survived a difficult past and still choosing to be gentle.

Ideal Home

David would thrive in a patient, calm home with a secure yard. He needs someone willing to allow him to acclimate slowly, understanding that progress may come in inches, not miles. A person experienced with shy and undersocialized dogs who can offer zero pressure, only consistency and kindness, will be key to his success.

Ongoing Health

David is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

David is still learning about the world and needs continued socialization without being pushed beyond his limits. He is friendly and trying his best, but he needs someone to help him finish what rescue has started.
