Mango

Meet Mango! This 2.5-year-old, 35 lb female Heeler mix is a bundle of energy and affection, always ready for an adventure. Mango loves to play fetch, chew on her favorite toys, and is an excellent hiking companion. Once she feels secure, her sweet and loyal nature shines through, and she'll be glued to your side. She's already crate-trained and house-trained, making her a wonderful addition to the right home!

Ideal Home

Mango would thrive in a home with experience handling herding breeds or where she can have a "job" to do. Her intelligence and desire to be useful mean she needs mental and physical stimulation to prevent anxiety and restlessness. She is dedicated to her people but can be nervous around strangers. We recommend a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Mango is currently on a daily dose of thyroid medication. She has been microchipped and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Mango is very responsive to commands and treats and is eager to please, making her a fantastic candidate for advanced training. It's important to be aware that, like many Heelers, she has a tendency to nip or "guide" things with her snout.
