This handsome purebred Rottweiler is approximately 6 years old and is looking for a new forever home through no fault of his own. He was adopted from our rescue in 2021 but was recently returned after his owner experienced serious health issues and could no longer care for him. He has had formal training and knows a variety of commands in both English and German. He is crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash with a training collar. He is affectionate, loyal, and wonderful with people, including children. He adored the young child in his previous home and enjoyed spending time with all of her friends. He has also lived successfully with a cat for the past three years, and the two became great companions. With other dogs, he does best with compatible canine friends. While he gets along well with some dogs, he can be reactive toward dogs that challenge him, so thoughtful introductions and proper management are important. Ongoing Health
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for heartworms. Any injuries or illnesses they had upon arrival or developed in foster care will be fully disclosed to the adopter prior to the adoption.
