CHARLIE

Meet Charlie! He's a handsome 1.5-year-old German Shepherd Dog / Husky mix, weighing in at 80 pounds. Charlie is a smart boy who's eager to please and has a lot of love to give! He's described as sweet, loving, shy, and quite the conversationalist! Charlie is a fast learner, especially when treats are involved, and he's already working on his leash manners and basic commands. He really enjoys his trail and road walks, playing with his toys, and is always up for an adventure. Charlie is curious, intelligent, and makes himself comfortable quickly. He also loves car rides and keeps a tidy kennel space.

Ideal Home

Charlie would thrive with an active, outdoorsy family who can lead him and continue his training. He would do best in a home with an experienced handler who understands German Shepherd Dogs. He's recommended for homes with children 13 and older who are kind and dog-savvy, as he can be exuberant due to his size. He has enjoyed meeting children at the dog park. Charlie needs a secure, fenced yard to keep him safe and happy.

Charlie is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Charlie is learning basic commands and leash manners, and he needs a consistent leader to continue his training. He is treat-motivated and learns quickly.
