About TEDDY

TEDDY is a charming 3.5-year-old, 10-pound bundle of joy with a mixed heritage of Chihuahua, Yorkie, Bichon, and three other breeds, as confirmed by his DNA test. He was rescued in rough condition, matted and needing a significant grooming makeover. Now, his beautiful coat has grown back, and he's a stunning pup who will require regular grooming to maintain his good looks. Teddy underwent successful cataract surgery on both eyes, and after a period of healing with medication, his vision is now excellent! He's a devoted lap dog who loves to snuggle and climb onto his foster's lap. While he generally gets along with other dogs, he prefers calmer companions and can become defensive around overly energetic dogs, especially when it comes to his food. To ensure his happiness and comfort, we believe Teddy would do best as an only dog or with a quiet, mature canine friend. He's mostly house-trained, walks well on a leash, and absolutely adores car rides. Teddy is all set to be a wonderful companion for the right person.

Ideal Home

Teddy would thrive in a home without children under the age of 8. He is best suited for experienced dog owners who can provide a calm and structured environment.

Ongoing Health

Teddy has had successful cataract surgery on both eyes and is now fully healed with excellent eyesight.

Training & Support

Teddy is fairly well house-trained but not perfect. He is good on a leash and loves car rides. He can be a bit snippy with his food and does not like to share, so guidance in this area will be important.
