Meet Hero, a six-and-a-half-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Mini Poodle mix weighing 14 pounds. This scruffy, adorable sweetheart has a charming rugged look and only needs mild grooming. He is friendly, confident, outgoing, affectionate, and happiest by your side, offering plenty of kisses and companionship.

Hero thrives on companionship and would be a wonderful loyal best friend for someone who enjoys having a loving dog by their side. He is ready to meet you and share adventures or relaxing days at home.

Training & Support

Hero already knows how to sit and is eager to please. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccination for pets 3–4 months and older, and a microchip with nationwide registration.

• Hero is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
