Hi, I'm Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who would love someone to take me for long walks, cuddle with me, and show me the ropes. I can be shy and timid at first, but that's just because I don't know what to expect in a new situation. I warm up quickly though, and my foster mom says she loves my heart-shaped nose and my short little tail. I'm from Texas, and it's pretty chilly up here, so I love to snuggle up in a blanket next to my people. I sleep in my kennel at night and am very quiet. I'm working on potty training and doing well with frequent potty breaks. I'll need someone to continue teaching me manners and how to walk politely on a leash. I love treats and want to do the right thing, so I hope you can teach me! As a puppy, I love to play with toys, especially bones and chew toys. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I make her go get them! She tells me it's not polite to jump, but I'm still learning. I've been around people of all ages, even those smaller than me, and I love everyone! I do still jump up to say hi and let you know I'm here and would love a pet. I've met a cat and am a little scared of him, but he likes me, so I think we'll be friends. I've also met some big dogs and learn from them, taking their lead. I know when they want to stop playing and go find a toy instead. I like to run and chase them around the yard, and they like to play with me too. They chase the ball my foster mom throws, but I don't see the point, so I just wait until they get back. I would love to meet someone who can see past my timidity and see that I'm an amazing pup! They would continue to teach me manners, take me on walks, and cuddle with me. In return, I'll give kisses, love, and endless laughs. Pinky promise!
Ideal Home
Someone who can see past my timidness and has the patience to teach me manners and leash walking. I love people of all ages and have been around a cat, so I might do well with one with time and introductions. I also get along with bigger dogs and enjoy playing with them.

I am working on potty training and leash walking. I also tend to jump up when excited, but I am learning not to. I respond well to treats and positive reinforcement.
