Shylo

Shylo is a young, male Irish Setter mix with a sweet and enthusiastic spirit hidden beneath a timid exterior. He's shy at first but quickly warms up to become an affectionate companion. With cute ear tufts, a fluffy tail, and long legs, he loves to run and go on short jogs. Shylo had a rough start and is still learning to trust people and new environments, but he's made great progress with gentle training and is now calm when carried. He enjoys quiet walks in low-traffic areas and has a big heart ready to share with his forever family.

Ideal Home

Shylo would do best in a calm home with older kids or adults. He needs a secure yard with easy access, as he's too shy to signal when he needs to go outside. Access to quiet walking spots or a dog beach would be a bonus.

Ongoing Health

Shylo is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shylo is house-trained but needs a home that understands his need for easy yard access due to his shyness about signaling. He is food-motivated and should be fed slowly as he tends to eat too fast. After meals, he has bursts of energy and enjoys playing chase, digging, and chewing on toys.
