Meet Wesley!
Wesley is a 5-month-old, 25-pound cattle dog/shepherd mix puppy with a heart of gold. He might be a little shy at first, but this gentle and sensitive boy blossoms into a playful companion. Wesley loves adventures, car rides, and even tagging along to the local farmers market! When his foster mom works from home, he's content to entertain himself with a squeaky toy nearby. He's incredibly treat-motivated, making training a joy! Wesley is already mastering "sit" and "stay" and is eager to learn more. His potty training and leash skills are improving daily, and he gets excited for walks and playtime in the yard. Wesley is a smart, sweet dog who is sure to be a loyal and affectionate companion.
Ideal Home
Wesley would thrive in a home where someone is present more often than not. He would also do exceptionally well with another dog to play with.
Ongoing Health
Wesley is up-to-date on all his core vaccines, including Lepto and Flu, and has received all boosters. He is microchipped and has been dewormed. He is on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and you'll receive the following month's preventatives with his adoption.
Training & Support
Wesley is very treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze! He's already learning commands like "sit" and "stay" and is eager to keep improving. His potty training and leash skills are improving daily.

- All resident pets in the applicant's home must be spayed or neutered, have core vaccines up to date, and be on heartworm prevention to be considered.
- Applicants must be 21 years or older with identification showing their present address.
- All adults living in the household must provide their knowledge and consent.
- If renting, proof of a pet deposit and lease allowing pets is required.
- A willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and responsible care for a pet is essential.
- If you own a house, a secure fence is required.
- All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.
Transportation
Wesley is located in Dallas and is available for adoption within Dallas and surrounding areas, as a home visit is required.
