Deputy Dawgs: Jack (CP)

Jack is a lively one-year-old pup who loves to race around and run zoomies with his brother, Jesse. Dumped at 5 months old, he has spent his first year in the Sheriff's Kennels. He is a sweet, energetic pup who spends his days in a large outdoor kennel (12x24') with Jesse, then comes inside for dinner and sleeps in a crate at night. He does well in the crate but needs a little coaxing to go in – he loves to play “catch me if you can!” Jack is definitely food-motivated and uses a slow feeder dish. He has had no accidents and does not mark, as he goes in and out frequently. He is vocal when he needs to go out or wants his dinner served.

Ideal Home

Jack has transitioned from the kennels very well and does well with other dogs after a slow introduction. He will benefit from a home with fewer dogs. Jack will do best in an active family and will need a fenced yard or a large area for zoomies. So far, he has not climbed or jumped a 4' fence.

Ongoing Health

Jack has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Jack needs a little enticement to go into his crate, as he enjoys a game of "catch me if you can!" He is vocal when he needs to go outside or wants his dinner.
