Queen Bessie is a truly special girl who adores a good booty scratch and loves to snuggle up on the couch. She's always checking in on her humans and loves to engage, especially when she senses you might be feeling a bit down – she's so intuitive and considerate! When Bessie feels comfortable, she enjoys some playful roughhousing and also loves to snuggle with her best buddy, Draco. They can play and entertain each other for hours, followed by a long nap on the couch; they are the ultimate best friends! Bessie was rescued from the county shelter where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding. She was failed by humans before, and now she's looking for a forever home with a family who will love her unconditionally. Could it be you?

Bessie would love a home where she can be with her favorite person. Her ideal home would include a furry friend, as she loves to play with her best buddy Draco. Children and cats are currently unknown.

Transportation
Queen Bessie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee. Pickup locations may vary and could be in a nearby town, county, or state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be prepared to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
