Hazel - Foster Urgently Needed!

Hazel is a sweet, approximately one-year-old female who is a bit shy and nervous due to her past experiences. She came to us as a puppy and has been in and out of foster homes and the shelter. Despite her initial shyness, Hazel has great potential to blossom into a wonderful companion! She has been tested with both male and female dogs and does very well with them. We believe she would thrive in a home with a canine friend, as she seems to come out of her shell when she has a dog buddy. If you can offer this brave little survivor a safe and loving environment to heal and grow, we would love to hear from you.

Ideal Home

A home with at least one other dog would be ideal for Hazel, as she gains confidence from canine companionship.

Ongoing Health

Hazel is up-to-date on vaccinations, flea and tick treatment, and is spayed.

Training & Support

Hazel is not yet house-trained and will require patience and consistency in learning this skill. She is a bit shy and nervous, so a gentle and understanding approach to training will be most effective.
