Sweet, Resilient, and Ready for a Home
Tom is a charming 3-year-old Bully mix, weighing around 45 lbs, with a striking black and white coat. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston and has spent the last two years patiently waiting in boarding. Despite his long journey, Tom's spirit remains bright, full of sweetness and affection.
He's a well-behaved boy in his kennel, showing respect for his space and belongings. But unleash him in the play yard, and his joyful personality truly shines with energetic zoomies and pure happiness! Tom adores people and is wonderful with children. He enjoys the company of other dogs but is also content being a solo star, making him a flexible companion for many different households.
Tom is already crate trained, potty trained, and comfortable with handling, grooming, and vet visits. He'll do best with consistent leash training and a confident adopter who can offer clear guidance, as he's still learning commands and can have a stubborn streak.
Ideal Home
Tom would be happiest in a home with a yard where he can run and play. We recommend a home with children aged 10 and older to ensure the best match for everyone.
Ongoing Health
Tom is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment.
Training & Support
Tom is working on his leash manners and can be a bit stubborn. He would benefit from consistent training and a confident handler.

Transportation
Tom is currently boarded in Texas and will be transported to his new home by our rescue. We have transports departing weekly.
