Alfie

Alfie is a handsome 1-year-old pit bull/lab mix who weighs a sturdy 75 pounds. He came to us from the city pound when his stray hold was up, and we know his name is indeed Alfie. We've had other dogs from his previous home, and they were all wonderful. It seems there were just too many dogs there. Alfie is an active, friendly, and strong boy with a big doofus personality and the potential to be a super fun companion! He's already been vet checked, neutered, and microchipped.

Ideal Home

Alfie would do well in an active household that can provide him with plenty of regular exercise. He has lived with other dogs and seems to get along well with them. We don't know his history with cats. He would likely do well with older children.

Ongoing Health

Alfie is healthy and has been vet checked, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.

Training & Support

Alfie is a strong boy and will need some basic training. He also requires a lot of regular exercise to keep him happy and well-behaved.

• Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved.
• Potential adopters must be at least 21 years old.
• Any resident dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and be spayed or neutered.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
