Meet Alaska! This gorgeous boy is approximately 4 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. He found himself in a tough spot when he ended up at a high-kill shelter in Houston, Texas. Thankfully, he's heartworm negative and is learning to navigate the world with love and patience. Alaska is getting used to being around other dogs, but he'll need slow introductions to make new friends. His foster family has done a fantastic job teaching him the basics, including potty training and some commands. He's even learning not to growl at his furry siblings! Now, Alaska is eager to showcase his new skills and find his forever family. Could it be you?
