NORMAN

Hello there! I'm Norman, a handsome young Hound mix with a mysterious past, as I arrived at the shelter as a stray. I'm a sweet boy who was a good sport during my intake exam and vaccinations. The shelter can be a bit stressful, so I'm really hoping to find my forever home soon! I've shown some reactivity towards other dogs here, but the team is working with me to help me learn and adjust. I seem to be much more comfortable when I see other dogs on leash during walks. I'll need slow, carefully monitored introductions to any pets in my new home to ensure everyone's safety and happiness. I might be happiest as the only pet in the household. My adventure buddies took me out for a "dog day out," and I was a superstar! I was great with the kids, enjoyed the car ride, and explored a trail without a single bark. I was quiet and friendly throughout the adventure!

Training & Support

I am working on my reactivity around other dogs, and while I do better on leash outdoors, I will need slow and monitored introductions to any resident pets in your home.
