Doce

Doce (pronounced "doe-say," meaning "twelve" in Spanish!) is a young, energetic, and social puppy of approximately 5-6 months old. She weighs about 28 lbs now and is expected to fill out to be a smaller medium-sized dog, perhaps 35-40 lbs. Doce was rescued with her brother, Once. She absolutely loves activity like running, jumping, and playing. While she's still learning the ropes of fetch, she'll enthusiastically chase after anything! Doce is very friendly with humans and is starting to blossom into her own personality as she prepares for her foster journey. Her cute, soft coat and warm eyes are sure to steal your heart, and her fun "Dalmation" black spots on her ears are a testament to the beauty of mixed breeds from the island. She will make a great dog, but she is definitely still a puppy, so patience and training will be essential as she matures.

Training & Support

Doce will be working on socialization outside of her rescue situation, leash walking, and establishing a home routine in her foster placement. As she is still a puppy, consistent training and patience will be a must.

Transportation

Doce is currently in foster care in Puerto Rico and will be flying to the states soon. We will arrange to send her to an airport that best suits her future family.
