Marilyn Monroe is a beautiful 2-year-old Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix weighing 49 pounds, with a heart as beautiful as her smile. She is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. Marilyn absolutely adores people and is happiest when she's by your side. She loves hugs, cuddles, attention, and being included in daily life. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys going for walks, rides well in the car, and already knows the "sit" command. Marilyn is affectionate, gentle, eager to please, and has shown no concerning behaviors in foster care. She is not food aggressive and would do well either with another friendly dog or as the center of attention in her own home. Marilyn's story is a heartbreaking one. She was found wandering the streets searching for food shortly after giving birth. Sadly, her puppies were never found. Despite the loss and hardship she endured, Marilyn never lost her loving spirit or her trust in people. Tragic to Magic rescued her and gave her the second chance she so deserved. Now, Marilyn Monroe is ready for the happy ending she's been waiting for—a family who will shower her with love, include her in their adventures, and give her the safe, loving home she's always deserved. In return, she'll reward them with endless affection, unwavering loyalty, and a lifetime of unconditional love.

Ideal Home

Marilyn would thrive in an active family with a securely fenced yard where she can run, play, and enjoy life. She does not do well with cats.

Marilyn is potty trained and knows the "sit" command. She is eager to please and has shown no concerning behaviors in foster care.
