About Roro

Roro is a charming 2.5-3 year old, 70 lb Black Lab Mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He and his brother Milo came into rescue after being pulled by their foster family from the county shelter. Roro is a curious, energetic, and affectionate boy who loves exploring, going on walks and hikes, and even jogging with his human. He's a snuggler at heart, often pawing gently for attention or cuddling up close. While a bit shy with strangers initially, he bonds deeply with his people once he feels safe, showering them with love. He enjoys car rides with his head out the window (safely secured, of course!) and can get a little vocal out of excitement when seeing other dogs. Roro is treat-motivated and knows basic commands like "sit," "stay," and "wait." He understands not to jump on furniture after a gentle correction and sleeps soundly in his crate, which is usually left open for him.

Ideal Home

Roro would thrive in a home that enjoys an energetic, curious, and affectionate companion. He loves walks, hikes, car rides, and cuddles. An adult-only home or one with older teens would be ideal, as he is on the timid side and hasn't been around young children. He would also do best living with another dog.

Ongoing Health

Roro is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and heartworm tested. He appears healthy and is at a good weight.

Training & Support

Roro is responsive to gentle guidance and understands basic commands. He has been taught not to jump on furniture with a few corrections. Continued basic training would be beneficial. He may take a little longer to warm up to new people but is very sweet once he trusts you.
