Chelsea is a spirited, smart, affectionate Pittie mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves toys, walks, treats, car rides, adventures, and snuggling with her trusted people. She is goofy, sassy, loyal, cuddly, and full of personality.

Ideal Home

Chelsea would prefer to be the only dog and is not comfortable living with cats. She currently lives with children but would do best with adults or older teenagers in a calm, experienced, and understanding home. She can be wary of men and teenage boys, particularly when movements are loud or unpredictable, though she has made progress with patient introductions. She is reactive toward other dogs and can be protective around food, so she is fed separately.

Chelsea can become overstimulated and mouthy during exciting play, and thunderstorms can frighten her. Calm, structured interactions and continued management will help her thrive.

Ongoing Health

Chelsea was born on January 30, 2022, weighs approximately 70 pounds, and is fully vetted. Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, a 4DX test, deworming, heartworm prevention, and flea and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Chelsea is crate trained, potty trained, and trustworthy when free-roaming. She is highly food motivated and has worked hard on her leash manners. With proper tools and structure, she walks very well. She has also made significant progress overcoming her fear of baths. Chelsea loves car rides and adventures, and adopters should be prepared to child-lock push-down door handles because she has learned how to open them.
