Jake

Jake is a goofy, 70 lb, 4-year-old German Shepherd mix with an undeniable zest for life. He and his littermates were found abandoned as puppies, and while his family has all found their forever homes, Jake is still waiting for his special person or family. He's a total sweetheart who adores being petted, scratched, and cuddled, and his enthusiasm for belly rubs is truly contagious. Jake is incredibly intelligent and eager to please, making him a quick learner. He loves to be involved in everything his humans do, whether it's a road trip, a lazy afternoon, or just accompanying you on chores. His loyalty, good manners, and affectionate nature make him easy to fall in love with.

Ideal Home

Jake would thrive in an active household with a family who enjoys hiking, running, camping, or other outdoor adventures. He would also do best in a home with another large-breed dog for him to play with.

Ongoing Health

Jake is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He is in excellent health.

Training & Support

Jake is obedient and has been trained to walk nicely beside his foster dad. He is well-trained both on and off leash and enjoys games of tug-of-war.
