Markus

Markus is a handsome black Lab/Pit Bull Terrier mix with an estimated DOB of 05/15/2019. He was found in Mark Twain National Forest, initially scared and unsure, but he bravely hopped into a kind person's truck and has been on a journey of discovery ever since! Markus has the potential to be an incredible companion for the right person. While he can show some barrier-aggression in the shelter, he truly bonds with his person and is very protective. The wonderful perks of adopting Markus are that he's already potty-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and absolutely loves car rides! He’s a tidy guy, doesn't make messes, and is a pro at entertaining himself with a toy. Markus also loves to be part of the action and is a fantastic playmate, especially when a ball is involved – he'll even bring it back!

Ideal Home

Markus would thrive in an adult-only home where he can be the sole canine companion. He does get along well with cats.

Ongoing Health

Markus is fixed, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been microchipped.

Training & Support

Markus is already potty-trained and walks great on a leash. He enjoys playing ball and returning it. His previous family found he bonds very strongly with his one person and can be protective.
