Penelope is a stunning Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her paws! She's a gentle, affectionate, and goofy girl who truly believes she's a lap dog, despite her impressive size. Penelope's journey wasn't an easy one; she arrived with us pregnant, starving, and having faced hardships no dog should endure. Because of her past, she was initially wary of people, but with consistent patience and love, she's blossomed into a trusting and loving companion. She'll fill your days with laughter with her silly antics and boundless puppy energy. Penelope thrives with space to roam, a purpose, and a family to protect, making her an ideal guardian for those with land and livestock. She is friendly with other dogs and has a special bond with Moses, a large Pyrenees mix. More than anything, Penelope longs for a forever family and a place where she'll never feel left behind again. This sweet girl deserves all the love, safety, and second chances in the world.
