Mars

Meet Mars! This sweet 2-year-old, 45-50 lb boy was tragically found dumped from a truck outside a gas station. Thankfully, some kind locals and business owners provided him with food and a safe place until our Adore team could rescue him. Mars is now boarding with a dog trainer, happily learning to be a dog again. He is a social butterfly who adores everyone he meets and is great with other dogs, especially energetic ones he can play and run with. With consistent guidance, he could also adjust to a home with cats. Mars would do best with older children, as he can be a bit boisterous and might accidentally knock over little ones. His recall is fantastic, making him a great candidate for an active family!

Mars would thrive in an active home with older children. With structure and guidance, he could potentially live with cats.

Ongoing Health

Mars is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is heartworm positive and has begun the slow-kill treatment process. We will provide monthly Heartgard to his future adopter to cover the ongoing treatment.

Training & Support

Mars is currently learning to be a dog again with a trainer. While his recall is amazing, he would benefit from continued structure and guidance to help him adjust to a home environment, especially if cats are present.
