Baylor Banjo is a silly, genuinely good, respectful, and thankful boy who longs to be a part of your family. He has a well-balanced energy level, making him happy to entertain himself with toys or join in on playtime. He's a perfect coffee buddy, content to relax by your side, or a fantastic playmate for kids who enjoy running in the yard. Baylor is an excellent car rider and seems to have perfect house manners. He is fully vetted and considered a very healthy boy by the vet. Baylor is medium-sized, weighing around 50 lbs, and is described as sleek or sporty. He is loved by everyone he meets and is known for his handsome "tuxedo" markings.
Ideal Home
Baylor would thrive in a home with an active family. He is wonderful with kids of all ages and enjoys playing with them. He would do best in a kitty-free home.
Ongoing Health
Baylor is fully vetted, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also had a heartworm test and treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Baylor is highly trainable and treat-motivated, learning quickly. He has mastered "sit" and "wait." He is friendly to people and has learned not to be a distraction unless given permission to greet. While he is generally good with boundaries, he may occasionally need gentle reminders about personal space with very young children due to his abundant affection.

Transportation
Baylor is located in Texas and can be transported across the US via the rescue's internal transport service. They travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, or Brattleboro, VT. Transport is provided with 24/7 care on USDA-licensed vehicles.
