Sakura

Sakura is a sweet 5-year-old girl who may be a little shy at first, but her affectionate nature will shine through once she feels comfortable. She enjoys the company of other dogs her size and would do best in a calm environment. A fenced yard is recommended to give her a secure space to explore and feel safe, as new or busy surroundings can make her a bit skittish. We encourage potential adopters to research the Shiba breed to ensure it's a good fit for your lifestyle.

Ideal Home

Sakura would thrive in a calm home with another dog of similar size. A fenced yard is highly recommended to provide her with a secure and comfortable environment.

Ongoing Health

Sakura is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Sakura can be a bit timid and skittish in new or busy environments. Patience and a gentle approach will help her blossom. Researching the Shiba breed is strongly encouraged to understand their unique characteristics and needs.

Application Details:

• Applications to adopt Sakura start by contacting us through Wags.
• The adoption fee is $200.00.
• With an approved application, a deposit can hold your new best friend for up to 1 week. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it is not applied to the adoption fee.

Transporation

Sakura is located at Protecting Animal Welfare Society, 400 W. Walnut St., Jacksonville, IL 62650. We are open for visits and applications on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Please call and leave a message if you cannot reach us during business hours, and a volunteer will return your call as soon as possible.
