Meet Thomas, a 3-year-old Pittie/retriever mix who's about as charming as they come! This 68-pound goofball is incredibly people-focused, super loving, and an all-around amazing companion. Thomas is great with other dogs, loves a good game of fetch, and is fantastic with kids. He's even a perfect office buddy, happy to hang out and keep you company. He's truly the best of both worlds, with the fun-loving retriever spirit and the affectionate, lap-dog nature of a Pittie.
Ideal Home
Thomas would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of human connection and cuddles. He's a big kisser and believes he's a lap dog, so prepare for lots of affection! He's great with children aged 3-13 and would do well with a canine sibling who enjoys playing. A fenced-in backyard is ideal for his zoomies and outdoor adventures. As he was a bit too interested in the resident cat, we recommend a feline-free home for Thomas.

Thomas is a healthy boy who has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations and preventative treatments.
Training & Support
Thomas is a smart cookie, treat-motivated, and eager to please, making training a joy. He already knows commands like "sit," "down," "leave it," and "fetch." He's a gentle treat-taker, fully crate-trained, and walks beautifully on a gentle lead. He loves to sleep in bed if you'll have him! When in his crate, he enjoys chewing on a rubber toy like a Kong.

Transporation
Thomas is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport, traveling to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. An additional $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
