Nena is a sweet 4-year-old terrier mix with a tender heart and a gentle nature. She can be shy at first, but with a little time and trust, she blossoms into a loving companion. Nena is a calm presence who makes sweet eye contact and enjoys engaging with her person more than with toys. She walks well on leash and knows commands like "sit" and "paw."

Nena is best suited for an adult-only home where she can continue her healing journey in a calm and stable environment.

Ongoing Health

Nena is currently being treated for a severe skin allergy and is on the mend. She has been a bit sensitive to handling due to her medical condition, but we are hopeful that as she recovers, she will become more comfortable with trusted individuals.
