Nala Mae is a 6-year-old, spayed female Rottweiler mix who weighs around 46 pounds. She's a sweet, gentle, and well-mannered companion with an easygoing personality and a heart full of love to give. Nala enjoys playing with other dogs, is respectful of their cues, and is especially gentle with smaller pups. She's also completely non-reactive on walks and has excellent leash manners.
Ideal Home
Nala Mae would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level where she can enjoy daily walks and quality time with her people. She would likely enjoy having another friendly dog companion but doesn't require one. She's incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with children and would be a wonderful addition to a home with kids of any age.
Ongoing Health
Nala Mae is a healthy girl. While she may bark or cry for a few minutes when first crated or left alone, she settles down quickly. This mild separation anxiety is expected to improve as she becomes more comfortable in a consistent routine.
Training & Support
Nala Mae is fully house-trained and does well in her crate. She is a smart girl who knows several commands and is eager to please. She loves playing with balls, enjoys car rides, and has no trouble with stairs. Her foster describes her as a "turnkey pup" – affectionate, intelligent, gentle, and ready to be a loyal best friend.
